the Feral/Feral-Adjacent Hero art where he's like a dragon has me thinking about a older drawing (somewhere last year?) with Broken as a squire.... the imagery of the knight character as a dragon but still having a squire is amusing. i initially would want to change it to kobold since it's kinda the trope with dragons, but the relationship between birds and large lizards (crocodiles specifically) makes for a interesting analogue (and possibly more fitting)! the Broken dealing with cleaning, feeding, maintenance, all things a knight/dragon/whateverismoreapplicable shouldn't have to deal with. ...broken feels small comparatively to anyone who wishes to exert and power over him at all- do you think he's like. Normally Sized. compared to these bigger feral beast versions. it seems fitting for him to be physically smaller but it limits him in what he can do to feel useful. in the Terrarium of my mind- do I be nice to him? or do I be cruel?

oh yeah, definitely much smaller... shoeing your knight who is a dragon because he's also a horse (putting all the signifiers in a big pot and stirring them up)

i prefer preds who are large enough to swallow me whole without breaking anything (jawbones, organs, suspension of disbelief). i'm not opposed to samesize vore when the pred is slime or a toon or something. but generally i'm going to gravitate towards big ol' monsters if i get to pick

i like maws that are fanged, drooly, and have a large, dexterous tongue, so, generally carnivorous mammal-type mouths in practice. snake mouths are neat also, aesthetically. preds of species that are traditionally herbivorous have this fun reversal-of-expectations dynamic inherently and i love that for them but it doesn't get me going the way a big unambigous predator does. i'm into the teasing and the anticipation and the biting and the swallowing and digestion is much lower on my priorities.

i am barely sexually attracted to humans in the first place and don't really consider them as preds much

fat preds deserve the world (to eat)

some of the above does go out the window with living-inanimate preds; i like to snuggle in a big cozy plushie belly and i like the things you can do with translucency + air pressure on all sides with pooltoy preds

if the pred is taking bites out of the prey, relative size makes a lot less difference in the sense of "will implausibility take me out of it," right, but i also just enjoy size difference in non-vore contexts so it's always nice to have!

As a suit, does it maintain control when another is inside it? A push-pull type situation? Full control from the wearer?

hushpuppy can move when it has a wearer just as much as it can move when it doesn't have a wearer. if hushpuppy chooses to go limp then the wearer can move freely, or at least as freely as they'd normally be able to move with heavy/padded fabric on all their limbs. if hushpuppy and its wearer try to do different things, they're pitting their strength against each other; the Voices could generally at least resist enough to hold it to a standstill, but most humans could not (the Voices are very strong).

What does it think of Hunted? It's made in Hunted's image but does IT know that? I don't imagine it has much in the way of thoughts...?

it used to be (another instance of) the voice of the hunted and it knows that! seen here. it doesn't worry about that kind of thing though. existentialism is not very fun. my postcanon porn setting contains multiple iterations of all the voices anyway (from different routes) so most of them have met themselves-but-to-the-left more than once and it's not that notable on that level. hushpuppy thinks other hunteds also deserve to be happy and snuggly plushies but it understands it's best not to get pushy with them about it.

Amusingly, I think with how touch-heavy Hushpuppy seems to be Hunted could find himself paradoxically disgusted and quite jealous of it. It gets in there and starts cuddling on... say, Hero, and he's torn between being indignant that it trusts another near it's throat without fear and jealousy that it WORKS because it's in effectively no danger. What right does this big effigy of his likeness have to claim what COULD be his so easily with no thought at all?

i think of vot hunted as less touch-averse than you're imagining, at least with people that he trusts. he's a good judge of character and motivation, he knows vot hero is just a big goober.

now, hunted IS skeeved out and conflicted in this way when he sees hushpuppy draping itself all over the Damsel. you can just walk right up to a princess and hug her huh? and smell her hair? and you're not terrified by the possibility she'll eat you? even a little? nice for some.

What's it feel like in there? Roomy? Tough squeeze? Middle? ?

its interior is padded and squeezes gently to fit around the wearer. not enough for discomfort, just enough to be a warm hug <3 now on the other hand, it's more breathable than it would be if there was no magic involved, but the air is a bit humid and musky in there, enough to notice.

Paranoid would either be panicked beyond measure or ecstatic to be firmly surrounded on all sides by plush walls. 'What does it want with me' & 'HOW DO I GET OUT' vs 'How does anything else get IN' . Given his temperament, I'm leaning towards panic.

hm, hm! a lot of things that can mean.. i'd want to stay with my partner, drone hivemind assimilation scenarios and large unethical corporations need not apply. and any kind of direct order/free will override situation should be limited to them & people they temporarily authorize. i can mostly take or leave the vagaries of biology but having no sense of taste/need to eat would be too depressing. i think that's honestly the big limits though. i'm not really a permanence-type kinkster but i do think i could give up orgasms for a sufficiently good cause

smittensuit is going to be very much focused on protecting and cherishing its wearer, sincerely, just taken to a sinister extreme. maximizing their comfort. praising and vocally adoring them. and uh he Will Not let them out. it's so awful out there! he loves you and he's going to make everything perfect for you ❤️❤️❤️ full bore 'the zipper has magically disappeared, now you can never take me off' type of suit.

hushpuppy would generally let a wearer out if they asked especially if they were in distress but i don't want to downplay the amorality of these freaks, it would definitely keep someone against their will if they were posing a threat to its princesses and it's not out of the question if it liked someone a lot and they were threatening to leave for good. possessive streak. don't run away from a predator

Stubborn and Opportunist. I'm Thinking. Contemplating. Please allow me this, Arbiter of 🅱️oice Knowledge. 🙏 so. Plushsuit Stubborn and Opportunist are kinda lumped together because I'm having trouble pinning down what really drives them to ensnare victims (victims is Maybe the wrong word, but their attitudes are So Domineering that like. What else would they be. make no mistake tho i do think plushsuit victim Opportunist is some real Serves Him Right material). Stubborn is all about being strong and persistent, so maybe it's like... training for him? He captures people regularly but doesn't pull any tricks like zipper removal or anything because he looks forward to people trying to escape, often violently. He gets ripped apart often and the sewing patchjobs are like, a mark of pride for him. He's maybe the only one that actually GETS repaired. His favorite victims are those who put up a good fight- he regularly seeks them out if they escape to try his might again. I think this is kind of cute, but then it's like... what about when you lose? Does he lose interest? I can't imagine it's easy to get de-plushied... maybe you can go back to normal if you beat him (fat chance and he'll tease you if you fail)

nodding, nodding, listening and learning. i definitely like the idea of "oh yeah i'll unplush you if you win this round" dangled over the victim's head as the prelude to a deeply unfair contest. especially if when you inevitably lose you get weaker or more rounded or less animate and so on. that's no excuse not to keep giving it your all! eventually he'll have a nice punching bag to train with in between worthy opponents

Skeptic... I don't know that he would make a good plushsuit. I'm finding it hard to imagine ways that he could be convinced to Get Someone, I think he could pick apart most arguments even if he's stuffingbrained... I think he's pretty chill honestly. He won't stuff you inside, he's not gonna Do Anything. You can lie on him. That being said, I do think there's something to his skeptical nature... he questions everything. Can you keep a stable image of Who You Are in proximity to him? Or will Who You Are become Who You Were? Reality Alteration... that being said, that's not really tied very much to the suit aspect. That's a Regular Ability for Skeptic if anything. Darn. This doesn't feel like his wheelhouse. Broken is. Um. He may be a plushsuit, but not even the trickster nature of these plushsuit variants can save him from the truth in my heart that says he MUST immediately kneel. His ass is NOT domming. I don't even know if he IS a suit- being a suit implies that someone could debase themselves enough to enter a lowly being like himself, which does not track in his mind at all. Plush(suit?) Broken finds his normal counterpart and immediately joins whoever he is following, that is my guess. Help.

Actually. Hold on. Maybe if you step inside of him you get a little plushy crown and He Has To Serve You. But. The more you wear it, the more you become a plushie yourself, slowly, day after day. Losing more and more of your capabilities as you need to rely on your trusty knight more and more, your trusty knight who is just Always Around. More and more diminutive and incapable, shrinking. Shrinking. Tiny, your stuffed pawpads being unwieldy and useless. Until you can't do much of anything without his help. Your benevolent Plush Knight. He starts asking you to help with stuff, Says it'll help with how Unable you feel, He Can Fix This. He's still following orders but just as often he'll guide you through doing it yourself. You grow back a little bit, and a little more. Inches and inches, your limbs regain some dexterity, not as much as you HAD but you'll Get There. Over time you stop asking him to do as much- you can do it yourself just fine you think, it's training, you are getting stronger all the time, more capable, and his time can be better spent doing... Doing.... something more important. A task you probably assigned him. Or maybe he assigned... himself...? You don't remember the last time you asked him to do anything. Needed to. He takes the crown off soon because It's Slowing You Down and you agree because It Sounds Right. You can't remember how tall you used to be- is this Taller, were you Shorter? You can't remember What You Had. But. The Hero tells you are doing a Great Job. You are Getting There and that is enough to push yourself further without prompt because he's The Hero, he's Your Knight, you can trust him.

And you grow more and more, wider and stronger, your stitching feeling more secure by the day, more weighty with stuffing and not empty because you Are A Person, not a Suit, More Capable still until. Until. Suddenly, standing up straight to Hero's thighs... it plateaus. You aren't making Any Progress. You know this because He Says So. You have long forgotten what size you originally were. It was probably incorrect anyways. He squats down enough that he looks only Slightly Down on you instead of towering and tells you he knows the solution to your problem. He can fix this. Do you trust him? Of course you do. This is Your Knight, after all. Everything he's told you has worked. He's been so Loyal to you, so Steadfast. You admire Him. He asks you if you want to keep training with him, become more than you are. Of Course You Do. He smiles, a toothy thing. His hands cover your head for a moment. He Bestows Something. Your body has never changed outside of the seams that make it up, the stuffing inside. Your form is as you always were. Now, you become More than you were. Your vision goes dark for a moment. Your eyes fail you, but it's only because you are still trying to blink. You don't Need To. Your Visor is so much better than your old eyes. For a moment Your Knight seems wistful. He tells you you'll be looking for a lord. A princess. Someone to serve. You agree- what is a Loyal Squire to argue with His Knight?
